You will ensure that company’s technical requirements are met through developing and maintaining quality systems aligned with and surpassing customer expectations.

Location: Antrim/Down

Salary: £45000


  • Demonstrate, challenge and drive business improvement through clear objectives and management of KPIs
  • Work closely with the commercial, procurement, technical, operations and NPD teams to drive standards and customer expectations forward
  • Lead the technical team, developing and delivering against set processes and standards
  • Helping to ensure that products are manufactured to meet the food safety and quality standards
  • Nurture positive relationships with customers and external agencies
  • Identify opportunities and deliver solutions for continuous business improvement
  • Demonstrate an understanding of operating integrity and has high standards for compliance and quality
  • Capable of introducing new processes, procedures and systems to enhance the business
  • Demonstrate financial understanding and business acumen and delivery against targets
  • Provide clear direction to direct reports, inspire and motivate across the business
  • Communicate strongly to internal and external customers
  • Demonstrate an ability to work as an active and constructive member of a team as well as lead own functional teams


  • Have a passion for food and a drive to have the best product on the market
  • Be an experienced technical manager or quality manager who has an excellent reputation
  • Experience of leading customer and regulatory audits
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • KPI and target focused with a robust drive for results
  • A passion for continuous improvement
  • Experienced in HACCP & TACCP Processes
  • Experience in writing organisational documentation (e.g. policies and procedures)
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
