Category Marketing Executive - Galway

We are recruiting a Category Marketing Executive for our Manufacturing client based in Galway.

This is a permanent job with excellent opportunities, where you will play a key role in the development & growth plan within the Irish market.

The main focus of the role will be to support the development & implementation of positioning the brand including full through the line activation.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver consumer insight and trends
• Challenge the brand portfolio
• Assist with tradeshows
• Manage and grow through brand-driven activation & revamp of current portfolio
• Achieve brand share and growth targets
• Champion the consumer needs
• Use competitive behaviour data and translate it into targeted marketing activities
• Deliver market and customer knowledge input into projects and brand planning
• Development of a share-growth-oriented marketing & category plans
• Translate marketing & category plan into a business strategy to maximise commercial opportunities

Key Experience and Skills needed:

• 3+ years’ brand experience in the food industry
• Exposure to Irish market, or launching products and activation
• Brand development experience
• Graphic design and food industry experience
• Energetic growth mind-set with a creative spirit
• Experienced in using social media marketing for business
