Excellent opportunity for a continuous improvement professional to join one of Ireland most successful companies.

Our client, a high profile manufacturer of iconic FMCG brands has retained Quorum Search Partners to source a high calibre Process Improvement Manager.

The successful candidate will join the site leadership team to develop and lead CI strategy for the site and developing best practice approaches for process improvements.

With overall responsibility for process optimisation in the plant, driving operational improvement activities to increase process efficiency, using your Lean Six Sigma tools you will develop these skills across the business.

Lead and assist in trouble shooting and process optimisation to deliver process improvements to drive improved factory performance, improve product quality and improvements.

Support and coach the manufacturing and process teams in the implementation of Lean Six sigma tools such as Focussed improvement and Work Place Improvement strategies.

Mentor groups and colleagues across the manufacturing team on continuous improvement tools, continuously upskilling and developing the way we work together.

Responsible for the technical lead in capital projects engaging with all stakeholders on the development, design, testing and approval of new processing equipment.

Candidate Profile: 

An Excellent knowledge and understanding of the principles of lean within manufacturing environments.

A Proven track record in coaching at all levels of the business with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

You will be capable of providing technical leadership and influencing and providing technical direction to engineers, team leaders and operators as required.

A natural self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Confident and effective decision maker, with a proven technical leadership ability to influence others.

Min Degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Engineering, lean Manufacturing or Operation Excellence with high volume consumer packaging organisation.
