Fresh Produce Sales Executive

This is an excellent position with a company which supplies healthy fruit into the workplace. You will have the backing of a well developed team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing solid customer relationships in conjunction with establishing new customers for the business, managing online sales, cold calling, organizing customer sales meetings, etc.

You will have the ability to read current consumer trends and manage own markets to become the preferred “go to” supplier for the consumer.

A creative and commercial minded person who is highly driven with creative ideas on generating new customers is required.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain profitable long-term relationships with all new and current customers
  • Provide account management and customer service to your accounts
  • Develop new business through cold calling and face to face sales calls
  • Manage and drive social media and digital marketing performance
  • Monitor business performance in the area of responsibility and investigate falls in sales and targets
  • Communicate with Commercial Team to ensure relevant information is available as required
  • Maximise sales potential of all products by communicating with the client and customers
  • Ensure the accuracy of all stock in storage
  • Monitor level of returns and investigate discrepancies
  • Make presentations to Trading Manager Director and Commercial Director
  • Generate relevant weekly Key Performance Indicator Reports (KPIs)

Skills & Qualifications required:

  • A Third Level Qualification in a relevant field would be a distinct advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing and social media
  • Passion for fresh food
  • Strong financial & commercial awareness
  • Strong organizational, written & oral skills
  • Excellent Presentation/negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Ambitious with a drive to succeed
  • Ability to work with cross functionally with all other teams
  • Ability to work independently and be flexible and adaptable
  • High level of attention to detail
