Maintenance Electrician - Galway
Full-time, permanent.

Our client is a leading added value food manufacturing company looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join the company’s maintenance role involves the rotation of shifts (day and evening shift), some weekend work is also involved.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintaining the machinery and equipment within the food manufacturing facility.
Carrying out preventative maintenance on machinery.
General maintenance services in manufacturing facility and its offices.
Troubleshoot and repair machine or equipment breakdowns.
Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment to reduce machine downtime.
Provide general maintenance support throughout the factory and offices.

Experience required

Qualified Electrician with mechanical experience.
Experience in manufacturing with automation, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
Fluent English, both written and spoken and good computer skills.
Experience with BRC and HACCP standards is desirable.
